Opened in 1868 by the Bala & Dolgelly Railway, soon to become part of the Great Western Railway, this station closed in 1965 and the line was lifted. View east towards Dolserau Halt and Bala. The station site has been cleared and the trackbed is now lost under the A470 by-pass. The railway line also continued behind the camera position through to Penmaenpool and Barmouth.
