The view from the north side of Leven Avenue of the Portland stone memorial to P/O Hight between Benellen Avenue and Walsford Road. To the right is Walsford Road whose junction at the corner with Leven Avenue was where P/O Hight's Spitfire crashed on 15 August 1940. His body was found just 50 yards away in the garden of 'Hambledon' in Leven Avenue. Image
