The former service street for the Clarence Hotel, the only surviving 18th coaching inn in the centre of Brighton. The former hotel, now offices, is the white building on the right. Viewed from what will be the western entrance to the new Hannington Lane development, see Image, as it crosses Meeting House Lane, part of the old Lanes.
