This burial ground adjoining the church was opened in 1965 and has been carefully laid out but no more than 20 people have been buried here in the last 30 years and they occupy only one distant corner! It's puzzling that the council felt it necessary to provide the tiny population of this parish with a cemetery of such proportions. (But I suppose that if there had been a disaster at the nearby munitions depot....)
