At the foot of Bridge Street, next to the Workman Bridge over the Avon, the church opened in 1907 and was designed by Frederic Foster of Coventry in a free Gothic style. Restoration took place at the beginning of the 21st century. Alan Brooks in his 2007 revision of Pevsner's guide comments on the "twin ogee-headed buttressed doorways beneath a six-light Perpendicular window, surmounted by blind tracery; flanking polygonal buttresses with battlements and gargoyles."
