A grade II listed item, described as a pump, but there is no handle or apparent place for one, just a knob on the right which is probably turned. Its base has flowing water around it, going down a roadside drain. A lion's head, full-face, is cast on the front. Oddly, this has never been mapped as anything, spring, well or pump.
