Some C12 diaper work exists in the church suggesting that parts of an earlier structure have been incorporated into this building. The oldest part is the tower which is late 13. The nave and chancel were rebuilt in 14. In the 19 the church was restored and the north aisle was added. The clock is unusual in that it has a motto on two sides. On the west side is says "Today is Yours". On the north side it says "Work and Pray".
