Making a statement with paint

As part of Purbeck Arts Week, two artists have highlighted the sad plight of the old Pier Head building by painting what they imagine the inside might look like (even the seagulls on top are models). Built in the mid-20th century and variously used since as such things as a bingo hall and an amusement arcade, the Pier Head building has lain dormant and untouched since 1990, and plans are afoot to transform it into something more useful. As stated in the bottom-right corner, "This is a photo opportunity", so I duly obliged. See also Image
