Looking down stream taken from the stepping stones in Image The river banks are very over grown and Himalayan Balsam is getting a foothold. Although a very attractive plant this Victorian introduction is a garden escapee and is becoming very invasive, shading out native species alongside watercourses. Compare with Image taken a little further down stream in October 2006.
