Newcastle is unusual, for a city of its size, for the relative absence of tall buildings from its centre. Most of its towers are residential and scattered around outside - this might be the most central. By T.K. Powell & Partners, 1969-71, but owing its present appearance to Red Box Design's 2000 remodelling. It is reflected in the library (Image]).
