Cofnodwyd yr eglwys yn 1173 ac fe'i hailadeiladwyd i rannau helath o'r newydd yn 1876. Caewyd yr eglwys yn ysod degawdau olaf y 20g. The church was mentioned in 1173 and it was almost completely rebuilt in 1876. The church closed during the latter decades of the twentieth century.
