These moorings, in the tidal waters of the Wyre Estuary, have always been popular with boat owners. However quite a few are now abandoned and derelict, like this broken jetty with disused boat still moored. The photo was taken at high tide, looking north along the Wyre with the Cumbrian hills just visible in the far distance.
