It would appear from the apsidal west end that this church was built in the opposite orientation to usual. It was built in 1891 and closed in 2001 and a new smaller church Image built on Torre Road next to the school. This old building is now used by West Yorkshire Playhouse Image as a scenery workshop / store for sets. Architect John Kelly, grade II listed (list entry 1376264).
