The church dates from 1846 and was known as Zion Baptist Church until 1970, after the congregation merged with the nearby Salem Baptists in 1967 (source: http://www.calverley.info/bram_bap.htm ). It appears to have been rebuilt in recent years, but retaining its classical facade Image Unusually for a Baptist church it has its own graveyard Image
