The former St Mary's and St Nicholas's National School, rebuilt 1849, red brick in a Perpendicular style, designed by J.L. Pearson. From 1880 it was called St Mary's National school (for boys). In 1913, it closed and the building became part of County Hall. Today, it is the Beverley Customer Service Centre of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, No.7 Cross Street.
