Plascrug Avenue

Placrug Avenue, a linear park connecting the town centre by the station with Llanbadarn Road. Plascrug itself was a fortified farm, the name first being recorded in 1667. A postcard showing the building in the early 19th century can be seen in the link below. It was demolished in 1968 to make way for Plascrug Community Primary School - see Image Old maps show the tree lined avenue as being the driveway to the farm.
