Lock No 3 on the Caldon Canal. It is not a deep lock, allowing a rise of just 3ft 10in (almost 1·2 metres). On the right is a complex of new and older buildings, forming the Cauldon Campus of Stoke-on-Trent College. The college provides further and higher education courses. http://www.stokecoll.ac.uk/
