A very large block, forty-six by thirty-four bays, bounded by Clayton, Grainger, Nelson and Nun Streets. "Articulated, like all Grainger's schemes, by pavilions". These occur at the ends of each side, with varying emphases on the centres. Built 1835 to the designs of John Dobson. Grade I listed. Much restored since, some good interiors surviving (Image]).
