Unfortunately this Grade II listed building is currently semi-derelict. It was a tower type mill with two storeys and according to the listing text dates from the 18th century. The Victoria County History however says it was built in 1833 by Joseph Shepherd who was a baker as well as a miller. It had four common sails, now missing. There were restorations in 1881 and 1933. The door is 20th century. Apparently a new cap has been fitted in recent years which hopefully will prevent further decay.
