Nicely sweeping from its rounded corner down Market Street. Monumental Portland stone, concealing a steel frame, as was popular at the time. By Burnet, Tait & Lorne with L.J. Couves & Partners, 1924-28. Grade II listed. Built for the Newcastle upon Tyne Electric Supply Company, at the time it was occupied by a fitness centre, and undoubtedly a lot more besides.
