Greystone Road Bridge and the Sausage Bridge

Greystone Road railway bridge and the "Sausage Bridge" which linked Greystone Road with Roby Road and was demolished in August 2015. Not intended for use by bicycles the barrier at the end of the old bridge caused problems for cyclists who wanted to cross over the M62 but the new modern replacement bridge that will cater for both cyclists and pedestrians and will also be illuminated at night.
