Class 122 Gloucester Single Car unit L101 approaches the bridge at Manchester Road after leaving Heywood Station heading towards Bury on the last run of the day. L101 was one of twenty class 122 diesel mechanical multiple units (DMMUs) built by the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company Ltd in 1958.
