Nearly 60 years ago and so much of Stevenage has changed, but this view seems to be in the High Street and just about recognisable. It is perhaps of 'historic interest': note the variety of cars - including the lordly Rolls-Royce, contrasting with the ex-Army Land Rover on the left. I believe this was still the main A1 road at the time.
