The stone waymarker http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4590719 on the Llynfi Valley Community Route is near the main entrance to Maesteg School. The stone was carved by artist Adam Williamson using an extract of poems written by pupils of Maesteg School and Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Llangynwyd, with the help of poets Grahame Davies and Mike Church working through Literature Wales.
