This station has the most amazing system of railings, ramps and steps to provide access to the platforms. It isn't a terribly busy station, but seems there had been abuse of the pedestrian level crossing to the opposite platforms. See; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorne_South_railway_station
