The plaque on the wall here http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4589229 was unveiled on October 26th 1979 by the Right Honourable Nicholas Edwards MP, Secretary of State for Wales, to commemorate the opening of the Edlogan Way Housing Scheme, designed to incorporate the needs of the disabled, as a joint venture between Cwmbran Development Corporation and the Borough of Torfaen. In 2015, the housing scheme is owned by Bron Afon Housing Association.
