Upper Pilstye Cottages, Rowhill Lane

Originally a timber framed building from the 15th century which was entirely refaced in 1822. Old OS maps from 1874 onwards has the building as a pair of cottages though it was listed as a single dwelling but now appears to be a pair again numbered 52 and 53 within the Balcombe Estate.
