This photo shows the platforms of the former Morningside Road Station which closed on the 10th September 1962. It was one of a number of stations that opened on the 1st December 1884 by the Edinburgh Suburban and Southside Junction Railway when it was named Morningside Station. The building in the distance was the former Station Booking Office in Morningside Road, its postcode being EH10 5HY.
