Beyond the bridge the footpath turns right and follows the railway line to Funtley. There is also a footpath left to Dean Villas, with an old wooden footpath sign, but it is not on the definitive map. Residents are trying to get this corrected. So far it has taken three years. This side of the bridge, a bridleway follows a dismantled railway line.
