My father (seen here with Emma, the boxer dog) was secretary at Littlestone Golf Club from 1968-1981; The Lodge was provided as accommodation, for the secretary, until it became Image All that existed in this area when my father first lived at The Lodge, was a small cold-frame minus its top. He subsequently fenced the area with chestnut-paling and grew a great variety of vegetables.
