This is between the cliffs and Marine Drive at Roedean, between Brighton and Rottingdean. Roedean School is in the background. Roedean School was founded by the Misses Lawrence in 1885 and operated in houses in Brighton until the new building seen here was completed in 1899. The chapel, seen to the left, dates from 1906.
