Roedean School

Roedean School was founded by the Misses Lawrence in 1885 and operated in houses in Brighton until the new building seen here was completed in 1899. The chapel, seen to the left, dates from 1906. More about the history of the school can be seen at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roedean_School It occupies a prominent site between Brighton and Rottingdean overlooking Marine Drive.
