There are four sets of semi-detached cottages between Brett's Orchard and Stockcroft Road originally known as St James Cottages, though numbers 5 and 6 are now called Image Numbers 3-4 are the red brick buildings on the left and look to be the oldest of the set. Beyond are 1-2 which date from the 1830s along with the former 5-6. See also Image
