A detached expanse of Open Forest, now separated from the main area by Hythe By-pass (A326). There is no grazing here, so vegetation can grow unhindered. The area is a Nature Reserve: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Forest-Front-Nature-Reserve/1493938467533059
