Early C17, altered 1676, with rear wing dated 1807. Timber-framed with brick infill some in herringbone and some in chevron pattern. Left bays ground floor and left gable ground floor colourwashed and rendered, partly over witchert. 2 rear wings in brick. Old tile roofs, half hipped to left, hipped to north east wing. 3 bays and 2 storeys plus attic. 6-panel door between right hand bays in front of stack forming lobby entry type plan. 3-light casements. Central 3-light gabled dormer with date plaque 'I.M. 1676' which dates alteration and formation of attic rooms. Modern 2-light casement to first floor room in front of stack. Rear wings have casements, north east range has inscribed brick 'M.C.1807'. Compound stack with pilaster strips and corbelled cap between right hand bays. Interior. Moulded spine beam to right hand ground floor room. Inglenook fireplaces. Attics have large curved principals trusses dating from 1676 alterations. (Source:Historic England)
