Haughton Green Playing Fields is a multi-purpose site providing a sports cage, play area, full sized football pitches and a bowling green. Other features include a wildlife area, a health walk, footpaths and landscaping. The area underwent major refurbishment in 2004. It received the Green Pennant Award in 2006 and Green Flag Awards in 2008 and 2014.
