This photograph looks along the route of the Great Eastern Railway line that used to run through the middle of Great Ryburgh with the old maltings to the left and the existing Crisp Maltings behind the photographer. More than 20 years (the last grain train was in 1989) since the line closed its physical presence on the local geography is obvious.
