Exeter: Exwick Mill

A plaque on the mill wall reads: ‘Exwick Mill was built by W. R. Mallett. A.D. 1886 on the site of Mills worked by Benedictine Monks of the Priory at Cowick A.D. 1325. Alfred Bodley Engineer, Brook & Ash Builders.’ The mill is privately owned. It was original the Higher Mill; the Lower Mill has been demolished
