Knockalla was once a private residence owned and occupied by a Dr Peter MacRobert. Dr MacRobert sold the house to the proprietor of the Harp Hotel, the neighbouring property. When Dr MacRobert moved out of the property it was incorporated into the Harp Hotel, which has now become the Toby Carvery. http://maps.nls.uk/view/102731777 shows the house standing on its own with the hotel next door.
