Former early Victorian hotel originally known as Queen's Hotel, Nos.82-83 Castle Street. Refronted circa 1870s and renamed Cooke's Britannia Hotel; closed 1913. Today known as Burnett House, relating to the post-war tenants Burnett & Co. (Hull) Limited, shipping agents. Vacant for several years; restored 2006. Attractive and prominent façade featuring unique Britannia consoles and distinctive windows.
