The Memorial which stands not far from the church door bears thirteen names of men lost in WW1 and of seven lost in WW2 including the sons of the rector of the time; Derick SEAGRIM (VC) and his brother Hugh SEAGRIM (DSO, MBE, GC) (AKA Grandfather longlegs) Both are featured pictorially on the village sign. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4563057
