View NW at Widemarsh Junction, towards Shrewsbury by the ex-GW&LNW Welsh Marches main line, and east to Worcester etc., also in those days left at this junction to the Barton Loop and the ex-Midland line to Hay and Brecon. The Down cattle empties is headed by '2251' class 0-6-0 no. 2278 (built 9/34, withdrawn 9/59).
