This rather ugly entrance seems to date back to the days when the building was a pub. The building is much older than it looks and was certainly in existence in the 19th century, when it was known as the Long Barn. It seems to have been completely modernised with this entrance added in the 20th century, possibly in the 1930's. Links to other photos:- Image
