Alas in July 2015 The Royal Oak on the A45 High Street in Flore was looking in a fairly forlorn state with the windows boarded up and its hanging flower baskets dried up. However, with its associated stable, it is a Grade II Listed Building with, apparently, planning consent to convert it into a residence, and appears to have been sold as such in February 2015.
