Seen from the South West Coast Path at a distance of about four hundred metres. The lighthouse was built in 1874, and is now a Grade II listed building. It has been automated since 1984, and does not allow access to the public. To the right is the helipad, laid in 1985 on the site of a former housing block which accommodated up to four lighthouse keepers with their families.
