View eastward on the busy Cheltenham - Gloucester main lines, shared by the GW and LMS Railways for their traffic from the Birmingham direction to South Wales and Bristol, also GWR Cheltenham to London. The Class D freight is headed by 'Grange' 4-6-0 no. 6862 'Derwent Grange' (built 2/39, withdrawn 6/65).
