I bet the farmer saw red when this mass of poppies came up in his rape seed field. I don't think there is a square metre of ground without a poppy in it, but it does look grand. I'm amazed that Ian Paterson, who's posted an image for the same square, never got a photo of this field yesterday. In winter green http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/662012
