This is one of the most complete and also most complex of the Recumbent Stone Circles. Most of the stones are still standing, and there are two rings. The recumbent setting, from which the east flanker is missing, is aligned with the inner circle, while the rest of the standing stones form the outer circle. This is the view as one approaches from the south-east. This is taken from just beside the west flanker. The low stones making up the inner circle are to the right and the standing stones of the outer circle are to the left. For more information see http://canmore.org.uk/site/37186/aquhorthies#694557.
