An old watermill dating from the early 19th century possibly on the site of a much older mill given that the neighbouring Image dates from the 17th century. I believe it ceased production in the 1920s and would eventually lose its former mill leat to the construction of Ardingly Reservoir in 1978. Now a private residence.
