The War memorials in Witnesham church

The memorial bear the names of 13 men lost in WW1 and three lost in WW2. Flanking the Memorials are two brass plaques to two men, sometime resident in Witnesham, awarded the Victoria Cross. Samuel TURNER awarded a V.C. in June 1857 during the Indian Mutiny, and Spencer John BENT in November 1914 in WW1.
